| Nevada’s fifth annual Wildfire Awareness Week is being held to encourage all Nevadans to BE EMBER PREPARED! Through this coordinated, multi-organizational effort, we ask you to take action now to protect your home and community from embers that can attack during a wildfire.May 1, 2010 RENO Community Kick-Off to Wildfire Awareness Week 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Everyone is invited to participate in this year's kick-off event for Wildfire Awareness week. Visit with local firefighters, explore fire engines, and see a helicopter water drop demonstration, talk one-on-one with vendors to help make your home more fire safe.
