Shopping On-line

Shopping on-line can be done safely if you shop at only "safe" stores. The lowest price, just as with local stores, is not always the best buy. Here are a few tips to keep in mind:

Stores with good reviews are the best bet.
However, some stores that sell speciality items may not have customers that have given them reviews. If you shop at these stores, please give them a review. See below for review sites.

Never link to a store where you got the link from an email. Remember, if it is spam it is a scam! If you got the link in a newsletter, check out the store at the review sites before shopping.

Before entering your credit card number, always check for the paddle lock in the bottom status bar of your browser, not in the text area. If a store doesn't offer secure checkout, forget it and move on!
